This is May's newsletter, slightly belated (because the tour has been taking up all of my time). By the time you read this, there will have been over seventy Fox Elipsus shows this year, across all of Canada and most of the Northern U.S. states! I am giving away a complete signed set of all three of my albums... "Changing History", "Momentum", and "The Road", which hasn't even been released yet. Not only will you have a chance to win all 3 CDs, but you will also be helping the "drive to 95", which is our campaign to reach 95,000 fans by the end of the summer (August 31). Even if you already have all 3 CDs, if you win this competition it will show that you are truly going above and beyond in helping me spread this music of peace and these messages about love and hope and animal rights and saving the environment. Everyone that enters the competition will be thanked in front of my 75,000 fans at the bottom of the DRIVE TO 95 note!
The winner will be whomever gets the most new fans for the Fox Elipsus fan page, and you will receive signed copies of ALL THREE CDs, or my exclusive unreleased tour posters, if you prefer (for those who already have the CDs). The best THREE runners up will all receive a signed copy of the brand new, not-yet released album THE ROAD - or, if you already have it, you can receive a signed copy of THE ROAD tour poster and the MOMENTUM tour poster! Your choice!
It is extremely easy to enter, and this is how!
(1) Go to http://www.facebook.com/foxelipsus - Scroll down, and on the left, it will tell you how many of your friends "like" Fox Elipsus. Write down the number! Then E-mail that number to me at ELIPSUS@GMAIL.COM along with your name.
(2) Go back to http://www.facebook.com/foxelipsus and click "suggest to friends" - then select all of your friends and then click "send invitations"
(note i: it is best to select 30 at a time, and repeat the action until all of your friends have been invited)
(3) Wait between one and eight weeks to give your friends a chance to click "like", and in the mean time you can "suggest to friends" (repeat step 2) as many times as you like to help boost your chances... and then go back to http://www.facebook.com/foxelipsus - scroll down and check on the left, how many of your friends now "like" Fox Elipsus.
(4) E-mail that NEW number to ELIPSUS@GMAIL.COM along with your name, and whomever gets the highest number of new fans, will win a complete set of my CDs to be announced in the September newsletter!
(note ii: it is very easy for administrators to check how many of your friends are fans, before and after you enter, so please do not make up the numbers. We will check them against the actual stats if you are a winner, and if you have made a false statement, you will be disqualified!)
(note iii: the two highest-scoring runners up will win a signed copy of THE ROAD!)

This brand new video was taken from a wonderful night in Calgary, Alberta, and directed by the extremely talented Ian MacLeod.
Unless you were one of the 500 who got "The Road" on pre-sale, or picked it up at a Fox Elipsus show, you will now have to wait until SEPTEMBER to get a copy of "The Road" - tragedy! But in the meantime there will be several singles released from THE ROAD over the coming months as we build up to the official release!
We begin with the live version of one of the comical tracks from Disc One of the road... and a firm favourite at live shows. "Cat & Mouse - Live In Calgary" is the first single from The Road, and you can blame the 12 year olds for this one. Lobbying for a live version of Anderson Brown to be included on Momentum was not the end of it... this time they lobbied for an all new animal song, and thus came the tale of the Mouse that lives in my recording studio, and what would have happened if he met the Cat (aka Anderson Brown) from the "other cat song".
