My name is Fox Elipsus, I'm from Oxford, England, and I'm an emerging singer-songwriter. I don't actually live around here, I live on the road! This is my local page for your area, so I set it to say "lives in" this area to help keep track of it. Similarly, it has a different last name other than "Elipsus" to help me remember which city it's for, but my name is actually "Fox Elipsus". That sounded a little confusing so now let me get to the point... to the good stuff! :)

My songs are about peace, love, the environment, equal rights for all, pacifism, the perils of a corporate world, and also some comedy. You can hear all my music on the websites listed under "websites" on this profile. Every couple of years I tour North America and Europe, playing free, all-ages concerts every night of the week! If I added you, it's because I am coming to play a free show in your area, and I think you might like my music & peaceful messages. The messages are similar to those of Lennon, Dylan, Hendrix, Bob Marley and Michael Jackson, who used music to inspire positive change. I want to help return these ideas to mainstream music, where they belong. I think it is time for a massive new movement for change. I want you to be a part of it too. The musical sound is more like Keane, Coldplay, Muse, Tears For Fears, George Michael, Duran Duran, Depeche Mode, a-ha, Pet Shop Boys, New Order, Ben Folds, U2 or REM. I often sleep in my ageing car while on tour, surviving on CD sales, tips, and donations, which don't go very far! I think we owe it to our children to try and fix what we have broken, to save the environment, and to try and create peace and a bright future for our species and for all species. I think deep down inside there is a part of all of us that wants that, but many of us have lost faith that we are even capable of that sort of change. Yet look at everything we have built, created, and accomplished. If we can achieve such miracles in science, technology and exploration, then how do we know that if we all united our minds, hearts and wallets, that we are not capable of the greatest comeback of all: fixing what we broke, healing the world, and saving our planet from its unknown, man-made fate. I still believe. I hope you still believe. If you're not sure if you believe, look at how many people have already embraced these messages of peace... and we've only just begun. I hope my songs, my actions, and this wonderful fan movement, will someday help convince all of you this is possible. I will be on tour in North America and Europe soon and I hope you will come and see me at one of my free all-ages shows near you!
One thing I must tell everyone is something I have learned from travelling the world: the people we are taught to hate - or at least to be scared of - are just as scared of us and are no more right or wrong or good or evil than we are. I'm tired of us being intimidated - lied to - used - and lulled to sleep by the governments we supposedly elect and the billionaire corporations that sponsor them and pull the strings. 
As long as we're distracted by TV and pop culture, our leaders (sponsored by the 1% - the string-pullers - the billionaires and corporations) can do anything they wish. As long as we are split down the middle, divided into 50 versus 50, left versus right, then nothing will change. I believe it has been manufactured this way. Our only hope is to meet in the middle and use our democracy to vote for what is best for all of us, a compromise, for our children, and for the future of our planet. People should be screaming, and demanding change, but we are distracted, shepherded, sleeping, or confused, or clueless, or we feel powerless. If a lot of us scream they will hear us. If all of us scream then change is inevitable. Perhaps we can finally start focusing on what is important to all of us rather than just the richest 1%.
In my dreams music and words can change the world. I will not give up - I hope you haven't given up either. We can do this. It has been my passion since I was a small child, and it has only grown stronger as I have grown older. My convictions have not changed, and never will: peace, love, hope, truth, knowledge for all, an end to tyranny, and a government that is truly not only "for the people", but most importantly, "by the people." 
My name is Fox... and I believe that all people are equal. I believe that all nations are as valuable as each other. I believe killing is wrong with no qualifications. I believe that we can save the environment, but it is going to take change of drastic proportions. We may be doomed unless we unite in a truly global movement, and soon. A movement for all people... human rights... the earth... and peace. I do not know if we can do it. What I do know is, if we don't try, it's suicide. Our children, and their children, and their children will never understand why. But I still believe that there could be a way to get out of this. This is how change starts. If you agree with me, join me. Together we are twice as strong. Together we can do anything.
